Analysis of Life, Death, Nothing Less

We sit here together,
I wish it won't end.
For the letter I wrote,
I wish I could send.

For you gave me compassion,
a heart I decree.
A small broken boy,
was finally set free.

Maybe I was lost,
and you showed my the way.
You gave me the love,
I needed to stay.

I give you this rose,
so wherever you go,
you'll find all the love,
that you already know.

that was buried inside,
and you let it out.
Without any tears,
or even a shout.

But your now near friends,
I'm not what you need.
But I always was there,
so you wouldn't bleed.

Maybe it hurts,
but  I guess that's my life.
To live through the pain,
and act with no strife.

But now I must go,
so you'll join all your friends.
I just hope that you know,
I was there to the end.

I'm afraid I must go now,
with ache as I wave.
To the words on your stone,
to the words on your grave.
