Analysis of Never Cry My Children

Never cry my children, never cry...

Dear little children, innocent and pure.

We are faithful to the darkness, of

the luring sides,

Not lost yet, just drawn to absence

Of Eternal Lights!

We have traveled many mountains,

many rivers too,

And every time I find a home so dear,

It's always time to shed another tear.

Covering your velvet faces

With a glowing innocence,

We still wander like the sparrows

On five continents.

My heart is struck, burning with love,

Your voices like bells trilling above,

Oh, my sweet children like the Angels,

From the bright abyss,

If the Great Master will give me power

in the coming spring,

You can make your home

under my wing.
