Analysis of Never Touch The Heart

The sultry kiss can touch the lips
and never touch the heart.
The "hit-or-miss" can write the scripts
and fake performance art.

The managed care can touch the flesh
and never touch the heart.
The "whole affair" can intermesh
and style a medic chart.

The tender word can touch the ears
and never touch the heart.
The "dolly bird" can mask the tears
and bid Circes depart.

The winsome look can touch the lust
and never touch the heart.
The "picture-book" can break the trust
and fantasies outsmart.
