Analysis of next time

next time you put on those boots, think of me
when the sad, orange dust flitters off
the cracked, ancient leather
turn away, but don't close your eyes
see the sun in the clouds
but not a cloud in the skies
and while I'm away, I'll love no one else
but I'll see white clouds
when I look at the sea
next time you put on those boots, think of me
