Analysis of Temptation

She caresses me with deliciousness
Leaving behind her promises,
Of warm exquisite splendour
Entwined in her golden hair.
Dream swept and mysterious,
She leaves me always desiring
More of her wonderful charms.
Rainbows fall from her arms
Emotions fondly stir
My vision is crammed with her color.
But when I awake
Depression cascades like a dark shutter,
Scrambling my exhausted mind
Begging me to disappear
Back into the warmth of her embrace.
I lift the glass and drink
From the poison that is her spirit,
Intoxicating me once again with her warmth.
