Analysis of The Bumper Sticker
The bumper sticker on the car in front read
"Ask me about my grandkids"
which for a while had me seeing red.
As did many other bumper stickers
it might just as well be left unsaid.
But that was many yesterdays ago.
Now with four grandkids of my own
ages 2 to 5, I have my own horn to blow
as clearly do I now get the message.
Can't you see my face aglow?
Nary a day goes by at the office
without stories about grandkids
being shared; as I count my bliss
little did I know how attached I'd be
whenever they give me a goodbye kiss.
They know what they can get
away with, and that's just half the fun.
Nothing will make them fret
for they know I'll keep them from harm.
That bumper sticker I'll just have to get.
