Analysis of With Eyes And Ears
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
So blessed,
Many of us are.
To have eyes to see.
With ears to hear.
And...
Given the opportunity,
Of receiving something to learn.
As an experience to share,
Together.
Being made aware of it.
The mouth is there,
As if an option to use.
To open and close.
With a nourishing our minds.
Done to flourish it and nourish.
And kept closed.
At the appropriate times.
However...
Ears to have,
And blessed with to get.
Are always there opened.
To hear whenever we wish,
Something to learn.
Coming in to both of them.
Although...
For whatever the reason,
God has created...
A choice for us to choose,
When to open our eyes or close.
And feet to use.
To either run or walk away,
From those incapable...
Or unable to understand it done,
When that time to them comes...
To appropriately keep shut,
Their mouths.
Listening with ears to hear,
And eyes kept opened wide...
With this opportunity given,
To learn 'something'...
That may or may not,
Be to them significant then!
Yet...
The experience of it,
Will one day come around...
Finding this found,
To have been beneficial.
Knowing never to doubt,
What it is God does to do!
