Analysis of Dim Lit Wits

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Dimming dimmer dim lit wits.
To have risen to positions to switch,
Off the current that provides...
That light preventing,
A complete darkening...
Into valleys of ignorance.
Believed by those,
Aging with gaslight minds...
They can and will thrive,
A maintaining of dispositions...
Remaining on a vine of archaic,
Dumbdownness.
And the best of it deception can find!

Barbaric rock throwers.
Slinging missiles made from mud.
Corrupted thugs.
Stopping the advantages,
To enhance...
Their own advancement.
With dramatic bomb dropping,
Stupidity.
Anywhere to applaud,
A mind ending unconscious victory.

Everywhere it seems they dream,
To poison themselves.
Feasting a feeding,
On racism and conflict.
Division, chaos and havoc to have it.
Craved!
Blind and can not see,
There is no benefit received...
To them that comes,
Performing to undo...
A doing done,
That has kept their way of life...
Protected with entitlements. Documented to cement them.

Or...
A diversity  wished to extinguish,
The face and color of it.
Stopped!
To allow the continuance,
Of a mindset fictioned to delude...
Truth for what it is to be.
Stalked to halt.
By any means possible.
To have an image,
Worshipped and idolized.
Memorialized in movies.
Or on wide TV screens seen.

Dimming dimmer,
Dim lit wits.
Burning away quicker,
Than a flame melting wax...
On candlestick minds.
Worthless to blind,
That light unplugged...
From a lifeline of their own,
Survival to condone it.
