Analysis of Decades Of Dawns

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Millions have lived,
Blessed to know what truth is.
And...
Will not be silenced to delude,
Facts for what they are.
To be willingly solicited to debate,
In heated arguments initiated...
About the future.
And what it takes to embrace it.

'There is no future to live it had,
With a past to have it kept...
Looking back at it.
Passionately romanticized.
Outdated are those movie scripts.
Those scenes to re-write them,
Are not reality.
They entertain imaginations.
That's all. That's it!'

And the many who have lived,
From centuries to witnessed...
Sunrises to see them set.
And decades of dawns to accept.
Have moved on.

Yet...
Still,
In the thrilling years of technology.
With everything possible,
One can do with a cellphone.
Within seconds.

And...
Small enough,
To fit in a child's hand.

Incredible it is to believe or not.
There are those these days disputing,
What truth is for them to pursue...
The recommendations,
And advice to them given...
From interior designers who suggest,
How best to approach...
The renovation,
Of their darkened caves.
Preferably without light fixtures!

'Only people with a mindset like that,
Could be persuaded to become...
Resurrectionists.
And made to destroy,
Their own reality.
Their own quality of life.
Its democracy and their entitlements.
By one who has never lived,
Truth or reality for what it is!
And tells such outrageous lies,
People will sell their souls...
If told to do it.
While cheering and applauding!'

'Nobody. Nobody is that stupid!
How is that possible?
You've been watching too much TV!
