Climaxing Damage
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Abusing confusion.
Allowed for just a few,
To do for their amusement.
With a continued escalation.
As begun to reach,
A climaxing of this damage done.
Leaving the culprits of it,
Nowhere to hide or run.
Everyone these days now know.
Who they are left fully exposed.
A pride to uphold,
A selling sold.
Bought by those souls lost,
To invest quick...
Their deluded mentalities.
Without thought or common sense to use.
Find themselves in the midst,
Of conflicts they began to believe...
Would benefit to come to relieve,
Them from a truth and reality of it.
If they stayed to pledge allegiance,
To a living of a fictionalized way of life.
Only to awaken,
Conscious, stunned and startled.
Discovering to find,
As time moves on to provide the light.
Opening their minds and eyes.
Like never before to have it done.
To realize,
A feeding fed to feast...
On deception, lies and delicious treats.
To keep their lives trick to fool.
Ultimately has them,
Obeying misdeeds upon themselves to do!
To prove without a doubt,
The power they have to self destruct!
And...
Observed to watch,
This climaxing damage...
Paraded by those who protest,
Their entitlement to collapse...
A way of life to demand,
Their right without insight...
To ensure what they do,
Completely damages...
Not one or two rules to corrupt.
But all there is to ruin themselves.
'All that we and our founding fathers,
Built to wish and want to become better.
Now...
All of it we permitted to destroy.'
'Isn't it wonderful.
Now we have that image of power,
All to ourselves.'
'Well...
What happens to that diversity.
That made us dependent upon,
To prove how great of a people...
We all together once had been?'
'Here we go.
There is always someone,
Wanting to be a 'party pooper'.
Bringing up unnecessary details.
And pray tell?
Whose side are you on?
Who or what are you trying to represent?
And don't dare mention,
Having a taste to crave logic!
What we have done to do to prove,
Has nothing at all to do with logic!
Have you lost your mind?
