Way Off Track Factless
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
A challenge to debate,
Anyone known to be born...
Taught to delude truth and reality.
Seems an impossible task,
To accept and believe it conquered.
Even the challenge to face someone,
Way off track and a life lived factless.
Is enough to be qualified,
To be a candidate for a padded cell.
This without it hesitated to contemplate,
Should not approach consideration.
Since many who deceive and lie,
Premeditate the doing of it.
Knowing the difference a decision makes.
However...
Those born and raised to delude truth,
Will never be convinced...
Their fictionalized lives taught to live.
Are fictionalized lies to them told to tell.
And fictional lives lived to live them well,
Do come to an end.
With no one witnessed,
Happily rushing towards the horizon.
To greet the rising Sun.
And not a violin heard to play.
As the sound of morning birds...
Begin chirping in perfect harmony,
SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW.
As Judy Garland interrupts to ask,
If 'Little Women' is being filmed nearby?
This...
For those way off track and living factless.
Would not be noticed,
To be a creation....
Purposely to distort reality.
And they would argue about it being seen!
'But seeing something doesn't mean,
It isn't...'
'What? Real?'
'Forget it."
'No...
You forget it.
Remember...
I'm the one,
Having DELUSIONS!
Remember...
I'm the one,
Off track.
Factless.
Seeing things my eyes lie to see!
