What Brought The Chaos
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Fantastic are the 3-D graphics.
And mesmerizing are the maps.
In olorful easy to follow attacks.
With time and place of them to occur.
But...
Over what done to do and by who,
Invited chaos...
To the,
'GOTTA HAVE MORE HAVOC TO HAVE IT!'
Party.
Wanting a mess already messy.
To become an instructed,
Thorough destruction demolition derby.
Who, whom or what,
Thought such mindlessness made sense?
With a bragging to boast,
Of having physical or spiritual power.
Or both.
Claiming to have a power so great,
To ensure...
A civilized killing of human beings,
Seen to observe on TV screens.
The World over.
Would not be interrupted,
By the marketing to advertise...
The important things.
Like sex enhancing lubricants.
Without such interruptions,
Viewers follow along the carrying...
Of symbolic images.
With mourners declaring them depictions,
Of their own loved ones.
Dead and buried as heros.
Martyrs who chose death over life.
In their attempt to defend and protect...?
'I'm loving it.
In their attempt to defend and protect...
Okay.
Let me have it.
I'm waiting.'
'In their attempt to defend and protect...
Martyrdom?'
'Naw.
No pizzazz.
How about...
SCENES OF SACRIFICIAL VOLUNTEERS.'
'I like it.
Although the emotional,
Heartbreaking tear value is missing.'
'What is it we are celebrating?
Is it the beginning or end of chaos?'
'OH, boy!
Why can't you ask dumb questions,
Like the others attending...
Those press and news conferences!'
'I don't have a degree,
From an ivy league school.
And I don't want to embarrass my parents,
Who paid my tuition and everything else...
To keep my intelligence hidden.
As best as I can.
And away from public scutiny.'
'Well...
They must be extremely proud of you.
