Unexpected Salvation
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
The wilderness and the dry land,
The desert shall start to rejoice;
The crocus blossom in the sand,
As roses shall lift up their voice.
For it shall blossom abundantly,
To rejoice with joy and singing;
The glory of the majesty,
While the bells started ringing.
The glory of God is given,
Through the majesty of Sharon;
For the Lord looks down from Heaven,
With the beauty of early dawn.
The Lord strengthens of your weak hands,
As He makes firm your feeble knees;
With confidence in His commands,
Renewing your breath from His breeze.
Say to whom has an anxious heart,
Be strong, fear not, behold your God;
His vengeance will tear foes apart,
Coming to save from those who trod.
It shall clear the eyes of the blind,
And allowing the deaf to hear;
Bringing wisdom into their mind,
As the lame man leaps like a deer.
The tongue of the mute sing for joy,
Fountains flowing in the desert;
Causing new rivers to deploy,
That makes burning sand to convert.
The parched ground becomes a lake,
For quenching the thirst of the beast;
As the Lord will never forsake,
That all creatures can rest and feast.
