A Shortage Of Delusions Coming
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
People everyday want to be told,
What it is they wish to only hear.
Even if what they hear conflicts,
With their eyes opened wide witnessing...
A truth anyone conscious,
Without being convinced of it.
Can observe to clearly see.
Needing no one to explain the obvious.
Or become confused,
By one determined to argue.
Over what they believe,
Had been told to exist around them.
Although...
These same mindblinded,
Dependent fed on fiction people.
Later will ask,
Where and what happened to a normalcy.
They were told about by TV watchers.
Drugged and overdosed on delusions.
To follow until identified.
Yet...
Nowhere does it come out of mouths,
To hear it as they expect it should.
From those stressed out.
Fed up and pushed to the edge of craze!
'Excuse me.
It appears you are experiencing,
One of those days.
We all have them.
But can you tell me,
Why do so many seem to be upset?
What's going on?'
'I can not tell you that about them.
However...
From my point of view,
I rather have this reality.
Than the other one.'
'Which other one?'
'The one people are told is normal.
Dysfunctional.
And created,
By a delusional pretentiousness.
Leaving people left to crave.
For it to return.'
'Return?
From where?'
'Don't worry yourself about it.
By the time you awaken,
To realize you are out of your mind?
You will have already adjusted,
To the madness.'
'So...
Why are people upset?'
'Rumors.'
'Yeah.
There are rumors floating around,
About a shortage...
Of their delusions coming soon.
And you?
Seem fully prepared for that to happen!
