Gravity
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Not all things that fall to the bottom,
Suddenly.
To perceive and believe,
Will stay suspended in high places...
Permanently.
With a doing that involves,
The pulling of Earth's gravity.
Those seeking their climb,
To the top of exclusive kept authority.
Seen these days to orbit around,
Intentional misdeeds...
Purposely in secret to deceive.
Are themselves disbelieving,
Their airtight activities...
Would never be discovered or found.
Then up pops,
Stool Pigeons.
And professed loyal weasels.
All over the place.
With their pretensions imitated fading.
Miraculously.
Confessions nonstop...
Start to be heard coming out of mouths.
Dropping from the top to the bottom,
As if a showering of boulders and rocks.
Dressed to appear,
None other than those...
Selling tall and false tales sold.
In the hopes,
To keep their wicked deeds defended.
By the many who bought,
The belief that doors...
Will remain opened to them permanently.
Without those doors to close,
On their fictioned mentalities forever.
Leaving many running faster,
With a wish to fly higher...
Their homemade kites.
But their delusions,
Once ascending to suspend...
Without the presence to fiction wind.
Disbelieving this reality,
They run until out of breath.
Hoping to get themselves elected,
In high places to keep...
Their delusions kept in check.
Even though no hold do they have,
Over the gravity of the facts.
