Exploited Use
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
When people argue against what is true.
Denying the proof and evidence.
To refuse it produced.
More is revealed about a society,
Built upon addressing impressions.
Adolescent confessions.
And lessons taught to delude and fiction,
Their own criminal activities...
Committed upon those innocent.
As a way to have themselves perceived,
Worshipped heros, villains and thieves.
Worthy to be the focus,
Of a network TV series.
'What a shallow assessment.
I love it.
When can we begin auditioning,
The main characters?'
'We were thinking,
If we got people to sign...
Release agreements.
And pay them as extras.
We could present our intention,
As a documentary.
And filmed in sepia tone?
We would cut down the expense.
Without actors needing,
To research the characters' backgrounds.
Beliefs and motivations.
Especially when the actors,
Live in the urban centers...
Where their activities are being filmed.'
'Throw cameras up,
In the faces of most folks?
No need will there be to shout 'action'.
OR...
Remind them to at least wait,
Until the camera is loaded with film.
That is why our approach,
To do this movie as a documentary...
Smells of Emmy awards all over it.'
'What should we call this creation?'
'A Love To Get Bucked'
'I like it but it's missing...
Something.
Whoa.
What about...
'For The Love Of Bucks'.
Leaving our motive,
Clear and understood.
Then...
At the end of the film and credits given.
We will ask those who watched it,
To contribute to our efforts to end...
Exploited use of urban people.
For the purpose to make money,
Off of their anguish and suffering.'
'Sounds great.
Now...
Let's go and get our nonprofit status,
Certified and established...
Before we forget to do it."
