Loving you from a far

Leanna Snippers 2007 (Mahaicony)

Loving you silently is all I can do,
when I looked at you from a far;
hoping one day I get to confess my undying love to you.

It pains me to see,
you in someone else's arm, just hoping that it was I
to do that to you.
But what can I do,
than feel happy for you.

I hated myself for not being the reason for your smile,
and hated it when I couldn't comfort you when you cried.
I hated myself for being the coward that I was.
But I would never regret ever loving you.

When you looked at me with those beautiful eyes of yours,
I wanted so much to tell you 'I LOVE YOU'.
But where is my courage to tell you,
I don't know.
But if you ever know that I love you what would you do?

My friends called me a coward,
they told me to confess.
But I am happy looking at you from a far,
hoping the day would come when I finally say ' I LOVE YOU'.

Today I gather all my courage to say ' I LOVE YOU' aloud,
whether you reject me I am still happy.
Because I know I won't stop looking at you from a far.
