Theft Threats
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Openly displayed.
In outrageous public ways.
Is the current game of disrespect played.
Entertained on all fields of endeavor.
And ignored is a payment to pay.
Delayed or not the potential is there.
Sooner or later,
The occurrence to savor...
Will have no one favoring the flavor.
Theft threats,
Of ethnic dignities expressed.
Overwhelming addressed these days.
Performed by limited mentalities.
Ignorant of their calculated misdeeds.
Has dire consequences.
Does a backfiring of a backlash had,
Burning noticeably as fast...
Like an explosion of ignited gas passed.
Leaving all left breathless.
Even those adorning,
Masks to conceal.
Them responsible for this task.
Hoping to immune themselves,
From also gasping for air they trashed.
Preventing others from progress,
Prevents progress made by all.
A foot to crush to keep from moving,
Leaves the crusher to suffer as well.
Regardless who is observed smiling.
As if something done has been won.
A mess made to celebrate,
The making of it.
Is difficult to dismiss,
The creators of its origin.
People the World over,
Convinced to believe this existence...
Permitted to achieve.
Continuing without a cure to end.
Mindlessly inflict themselves.
Ensuring their own death to accept.
Is another theft that threatens life.
Nolonger to fiction or delude,
Who it was to turn off the switch...
Before cutting to despite,
An image of diversified faces.
Supplying all of their resources.
But their mentalities could not handle,
The proof of truth and evidence produced.
'Help me understand,
What it is you wish...
To control over with a power to demand.
Is it the image of greatness to fiction it?
Or a delusion to deny,
The truth and reality of your foolishness?
Which has been symbolized to idolize,
A nonsense you would rather destroy?'
'That is not a fair question to ask of us.'
'Why not?'
'Then we will have to admit,
All of our beliefs...
Have been nothing but nonsense.'
'Wait a minute.
Hold on.
All is not lost.
What began was an experiment.
And still going through adjustments.
What is it that you fear,
Is a threat to you the most?
The changing of democracy?
Or the color of the people,
Representing it being noticed?
It is you not they,
Destroying your entitlements.
How have your entitlements changed?'
'Well,
We...uh...
They...uh...
Uh...we...
They.'
'Okay.
I'll ask you something less difficult.
Who has proven to show themselves,
Less patriotic...
To the Constitution,
The founding fathers of this country...
Created?
And they were adventurous mavericks.'
'Well...
We...uh...
They...uh...
Uh...we...
They.
Them.
Those.'
'These battles you fight,
Are ongoing wars in your own mind.
Good luck!'
'Good luck?
For what?'
'Finding reality.
Or something you approve that appeases,
Truth to face to admit it for what it is.'
'Whose truth?
Yours?'
'Any truth you accept to not delude,
As something worthy to fiction.
Or corrupt to fraud and then deceive!'
