Admitting Wrong
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
No matter how small,
Or large the deception.
The result still produces the same effect.
That ultimately reveals,
One lusting for attention.
Done determined to get.
For the purpose to control over,
The mentalities of others.
With a familiar narrative.
That is easy to persuade.
And captivate the listener.
Deceivers know who to pick and choose.
When to dupe, trick and make fools.
No matter how small or large,
Their attentive unconscious hostages are.
Being setup to victimize themselves.
Used unknowingly as willing participants.
With supportive endorsement.
Clueless they have become,
Dumbed down.
By the one and others recruited,
Also entertained...
That they too are among,
The thoughtless!
And yet...
Awakening from,
A severe bout of thoughtlessness.
With this to blame and claim it,
On not being aware...
Of being used as tools.
Still they remain to follow along.
Since...
Being wrong is more devastating.
Than admitting the ownership,
Of their stupidity to address...
And confess it!
'So...
You do admit,
Your actions were stupid?'
'No.
I am admitting I had been wrong.'
'And...
For how long had you known,
You were wrong?'
'That I don't remember.
And what difference does that make?'
'To me, you or others...
Subjected to your selective memory.'
'I object to your accusations!'
