Life

Life

Life is a stream, flowing, crashing
leading to a ocean
People Leave this ocean
My grandma had a tone that could calm in moments, or encourage you
She only yelled once in my time, she was a kind person
Every time I wanted to see her I could
 she deeply cared for family
she left the ocean

What saddens me
Is knowing how dad felt
His happy, caring demeanor still there but tainted
It felt like he only had it for me and my brothers
My head was spinning and spiraling
we were playing a game when we were told
 The board on the table
I didn’t know what to think
We knew she was sick We saw her
But for some reason I still held hope

I’m happy I did now
That hope I held on to made my last time seeing her better,
The river flows hits the rocks and crashes on the sand
But The water always returns to the ocean
