Sacrificial Servitude
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
What is it that people who do and try,
With a doing for others...
Never pleased or satisfied.
But benefit and take for granted,
The ones they show...
And treat disrespectfully.
Knowing what is shown,
Is the best they can possibly do.
'That is nothing more than servitude.
And sacrificial at that.
It is adapting to a role-playing of sorts.
Leaving many to become accustomed,
To be used that way.
As if to ruin and destroy,
A toy already broken.
To stay and accept that is desperation.
One's addiction to punishment.'
This is where I completely disagree.
It is more complicated than that.
Maybe...
This could be how,
One expresses their love for someone else.
And from the outside looking in,
This is not understood.
'Oh.
You mean like enjoying to be tortured.
Disrespected and told to SHUT THE 'F' UP.
Ignored when speaking.
And called stupid in public.
And treated disgracefully just for kicks?'
NO.
That is dominance out of control.
'What else could it be?'
Sex.
Sex is a powerful tool to refuse its use.
It's a weapon.
And the way it can seduce and manipulate,
Desires.
Weaken knees.
Turning a mind into mush.
Making a known bone thrown...
Not far but far enough.
Having a panting dog to chase it?
Then return to its master.
Expecting a treat anticipating a need fulfilled.
Escalating.
Until the doing of it,
Makes one a slave to the rhythm.
Moaning and sighing.
Screaming to be freed,
From the heated climaxing passion!
'Uh...
Reminiscing is difficult to overcome,
Our most remembered experiences.
It is almost as if being haunted day and night,
Is not enough.
A divorce is not easy to recover and heal,
From memories ending a routine.
Now leaving one begging to be pleasured.'
Divorce?
You trippin'?
Me?
I wouldn't beg.
'I know.
You would first apologize.
Then cry and plead to be forgiven.
Most dogs that are taught to chase a bone.
Then bring it back to be treated.
Do not realize they have become and made,
A slave to the rhythm.
And a servant abused to please and pleasure,
The act.
The need of whatever position,
Has been addicted to role-playing.
With sex as a tool to use.'
One who is seen,
And accused to be the abuser.
May be the one who is habitually abused.
And heard to bark,
For empathy and attention to get.
But also has become,
Addicted to the role-playing of it.
'It's all very complicated.'
It shouldn't be as it is made to be mysterious.
Sex is a drug.
And insecurities to have how this tool is used,
Has created the destruction of humanity.
'Overly exaggerated.
And generously embellished!'
Really?
And...
The truth with proof of this evidence,
Is kept where in your mind...
Left to keep fictioned and safe to delude!?
