Memories

Do you remember...
Remember when a coin had the taste of sugar?
Remember when dirt meant you were having fun?
Remember when colors were that one style?
Remember when "Do you want to play" was a new friend?
Remember when love was innocent and blind?
Do you remember... Do you?

Remember when the color green made you blind?
Remember when the taste of pleasure made you forget?
Remember when surnames became the style?
Remember when friends formed a list?
Remember when love was tears and rain?
Do you remember... Do you?

Remember how fast you could run?
Remember how hard you could laugh?
Remember how you stopped caring for style?
Remember how many friends you had?
Remember how warm love made you feel?
Do you remember... Do you?

In the end, all that's left are memories
The ones we cherish the most... are all free
It's time to make them worth remembering.
Cause once I'm gone... that's all you'll have of me
