Replacing Not To Update
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Replacing.
Not renovating to update,
A truth outdated to delude.
With all that has been fictioned to remove.
And this includes,
The facing of reality.
Dismissed to refuse the passing of time.
Gone to no longer find,
What had been does not exist.
To resist this has caused,
Mentalities to diminish.
Leaving many to remain holding on,
Finding their normalcy in disarray.
Yet protesting amongst themselves,
A divisional chaos,
Is theirs to demand it and preferred to stay.
Replacing.
Not renovating to update,
What is today taking place.
Is an evolution.
A revolution of times.
Some believe is the end.
And for them it is,
The end of a fictioned...
Way of life to have lived.
All around to ignore,
The changes being made.
Here and everywhere,
Observed to witness on this one Earth.
Regardless of who insist they will resist,
These changes done to come...
To ignore them done.
Being unaware and unconcerned not to care,
Has kept many refusing to believe...
Their weapons to use to defend themselves,
Will keep the signs of reality away.
From what God and Mother Nature,
Continues to do to have THEIR way.
With a doing to prove who are the fools.
Fools.
Self anointed with self importance.
Attempting to prevent,
The changes evolution makes.
No matter what it is,
Unconscious inhabitants may on this Earth...
Choose to prove to stop and redo.
Fools are made and not born that way.
To remain and stay blissfully ignorant!
Unaware and unconcerned to care,
Self destruction is theirs...
To have and condone it owned!
As history has repeatedly shown.
