THIS WARRIOR IS HIS CHILD
PEOPLE SAY IM AMAZING STRONG BEYOND MY YEARS
YET. THEY DONT SEE THE OTHER SIDE OF ME WHERE I HIDE ALL MY FEARS
THEY, DONT SEE THE ENEMIES EVERY DAY I MUST DEFEAT
NOR. THE PILES OF BROKEN DREAMS THAT LIE DISCARDED AT MY FEET
YET. EACH DAY I PRESS ONWARD AND LOOK UP TO HEAVEN AND SMILE
FOR, GOD STILL REMEMBERS THIS WARRIOR IS HIS CHILD
