Proof
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Whatever it is people are looking for.
Up and down, to the left, to the right.
All around sniffing as if Blood Hounds.
Whatever it is people like this are seeking,
Can not be proof of truth or its evidence.
Truth has been biting people all over.
From their heads, necks, shoulders, arms.
Butts, backs, thighs, legs, feet and toes.
And announced by Mosquitos:
STOP THE SCRATCHING AVOID THE ITCH.
WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG?
EVEN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE REACTS!
WHERE HAS YOUR AWARENESS GONE?
Something has come to take away,
Common sense from the minds of the people.
Leaving many to enjoy their picnics,
Outside and exposed awaiting...
For the next rumored disease to feast upon,
Their unchallenged and displayed stupidity.
A stupidity so unique,
Nowhere in the Universe...
Have scientists yet to find,
Searching for an equal competitor.
And...
The ignorance?
DEFENDED!
YES!!
Defended.
The proof of that is not hidden.
It's everywhere and overwhelmingly,
Protected!
Leaving many to suspect,
Their way of life is being threatened...
By too much truth revealed,
To their children.
Causing them to have mental disorders.
Along with a loss of delusions kept fictioned!
So...
What can it possibly be,
That so many people today are looking for?
Well...
Perhaps validation for living in denial.
Or seeking to find their fairy god mothers.
Who really knows.
However,
If anyone of them is looking for a lost mind...
Who would it be to admit,
Being unable to identify their mind...
From all the others equally unused!
