What Money Can Not Buy
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Money to have,
Either limited or in abundance.
Can and does,
Have such an effect on one's mind.
To leave them to actually believe,
Common sense to use with intelligence...
Is given as if inherited,
From a World birthed into of status.
And money to have it interpreted,
As achieving of wisdom and authority!
Even one dressed to impress,
Can be taught to imitate...
What is meant to them to be success.
However...
This to do,
For someone exposed as an idiot to prove.
Would be a miraculous undertaking,
To convince of having hidden genius qualities.
Had been their chosen choice to choose,
For the purpose of being 'down-to-Earth'.
With a doing to be thought approachable.
And liked by everyday people!
'No one,
Pretends to be that dumb on purpose.
No one.
And...
Expose evidence of it to prove it too?
That's beyond something yet to believe.
Even if...
A stupidity like that is not pretended.
Although...kept defended.
And money to have it had or not,
Will never enable anyone...
Dumb, stupid or hopelessly sickened mentally.
To buy that many blindfolds!
No matter where the alternate Universe is!
No one...
Is that mentally disturbed,
And remains adored...
With a doing to have many disbelieve,
Kept discreet and purposely...
Are unrevealed genius qualities.
This to do...
Would make no sense to make sense of it!'
