Certifiable Madness
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
The craze these days appears to stay.
Normalized.
Identified to validate.
And stripped bare of eyes opened wide.
Once committed to deny,
Lieing to themselves
What is now has become too vivid to see.
The proof.
Nolonger hidden,
Even from unconscious minds to believe.
Their choice of one,
Who held the position of leadership.
Revealed to deceive.
Fraud.
Corrupt laws and what had been justice.
Protected.
As if an innocence child.
Caught.
With their hands,
All over a top secret cookie jar.
Purposely stolen to take it.
From a secure and guarded safe place.
Unknown but to claim his own alone.
To self serve activities of betrayal.
And treason to please a doing of misdeeds.
For power to taste.
Regardless,
Of the effect this would have on humanity.
And yet...
Temporarily judged.
As someone special to defend.
Because of what is being done to 'him'.
With a doing to cause him to suffer,
Irreversible and unbearable...
Reputational harm.
If this is not certifiable madness.
Then...
What is?
Some say...
A picture to paint it is clearer,
Than a thousand words heard to hear.
However...
Still there are many,
Deluding the truth of it.
And remaining in heated debates...
That what they have seen on TV.
Heard on conservative radio talk shows.
Conflicts more,
With fiction.
They have come to love and adore!
And the craze goes on.
As if to stay to belong!
Certifiable madness.
Normalized.
For the rest of our lives!
