Light is life

Kamala belagur

Free verse
Life for me is light -
The first light I saw was the Sun.
Light for me means
nothing else,
I think of the Sun.
I grew up watching you
Oh my warrior,
I have consumed thy rays,
Enriched my body and mind.
Yours is a personality
beyond  framework.
The truth I learnt
Live in the present
In search of the unseen truth,
Only regret will remain
At the end of life.

About this poem

The light here refers to the Sun God the real warrior who teaches us work in difficult time. He has the power to illuminate the world and remove darkness.
