Claiming So Much To Know
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Annually so many receive,
Degrees of achievement.
From various colleges and universities.
Certifying an obtaining of knowledge.
And debts to validate unpaid loans.
Proving a mind to use with common sense,
Is not shown to value...
How a dollar is earned.
Or to know where it is spent.
Besides on one's impressions to make.
And faked pretentiousness.
So many claim to believe so much to know.
Although the truth to delude and fiction,
Is among the top 5 on the priority list.
Even experts in the fields of science say,
What one eats may have something to do...
With the creating of diseases.
Yet they are doing their best to find cures,
Experimenting with chemicals.
And not common sense.
People can not be told lies to tell,
Spoils to rotten the fruit of truth.
And nothing can correct deception.
No forgiveness given,
Can not from anyone erase to forget...
An attempt from the mind,
To vanish. Be gone and erased.
As if replaced by another mind,
Free and cleared of all memories.
If everyone knew what they claim to know,
Why is ignorance and stupidity displayed.
On the streets, in the halls of schools.
As if people are competing,
In a fashion show.
Yet...
No one knows how to stop corruption.
Or the attraction today's children,
Have to crime.
But people of 'intelligence',
Are banning books to prevent...
Children of innocence,
Wherever isolated in cages they may be.
From learning the truth,
About their own country's history.
Although...
Kept protected is a freedom of speech.
To declare a bigotry, division and hatred.
With entitlements receive that proves,
Who fears threats of fictioned theories.
Yet wishing to remain to stay blinded,
To times found around them changing.
While ignorance has them,
Weaponizing against evolution to prevent.
Done to believe themselves to be,
Chosen deities sent by God.
And not the demons they are,
Sent by Satan to end humanity!
People only know,
What they have been taught to teach.
With a claiming to have acquired,
Knowledge from others.
Others followed and have been allowed,
To successfully create division.
Turmoil around the World.
Yet declare themselves experts!
Experts in the burning.
Not the building of bridges!
