Good Intentions
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
So difficult for many it is these days,
To keep good intentions...
Kept and meant to stay that way.
Without medicating away,
Every legitimate reason one has...
To strip butt naked in broad daylight.
And caring less to be seen,
Screaming up or down Main Street.
Wherever Main Street may be their town.
The madness.
The craze.
The excuses made,
By those coming to the defense...
Of the ones in positions,
Representing the many who are 'Nuts'.
Nuts.
Escaping from broken shells.
Yet...
Determined to be qualified.
And...
Picked elected leaders..."on both sides".
Fighting amongst themselves.
While leaving the people outside looking in,
Praying for God to intervene...
With something miraculous and too fantastic,
Too mind blowing to go ignored.
That snaps the attention that distracts them...
Back!
From a self indulging narcissistic 'delusionist'.
Who has the ability to convince,
Insanity...
Is a genius way to prove one's intelligence.
If seen enough in full public display.
Day and night.
In time with it given.
Can and will become as normal to accept.
As it is to destroy one's way of life.
Including...
Making outrageous allegations.
Creating non-existent evidence and facts.
To then blame and accuse others innocent,
Of being accessories to crimes committed...
That those who deceive,
With 'good' intentions to implement them...
Already have scheduled on their agenda.
Awaiting to initiate!
For all to appreciate,
The hypnotic aroma and lasting affect of B.S.
