A Godly Description
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
In Your tent who shall sojourn,
To dwell on Your holy hill?
Worships with love to adorn,
From their soul for Him to fill.
He who will walk blamelessly,
And doing all that is right;
Speaking truth unceasingly,
With a pure heart in Your sight.
Who slanders not with his tongue,
No evil to his neighbor;
Nor a reproach to be flung,
But helps them with their labor.
Vile people are despised,
But those who fear the Lord;
You answered and have advised,
That has been in one accord.
Who does not put out money,
Nor have taken any bribe;
Been blessed with milk and honey,
And are willing to abide.
