The Only One

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

I know the One the winds obey.
He lives in me; that’s what I’ll say.
His Spirit guides me everyday.
And teaches me in all His ways!

He’s never far away from me.
He stays really close so I can see.
And when I can’t feel love from others.
He reminds me that we are all brothers!

The earth and sky His hands can trace.
My name He said He won’t erase.
Such power and grace are found in only One.
He’s Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son!
