Fourteen
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
I think about your signs and your commandments every day.
I treasure them up in my heart, there to forever stay.
I share them with the ones I love whenever I am able.
At every meal I eat with You; they’re right there on the table.
My heart and mind are steadfast Lord; they’re fixed upon your Word.
I know you’re never out of reach; my prayers are always heard.
How great the wonder of your love; I delight in your decrees!
And everyone who fears you Lord is healed of their disease.
The snares and traps of evil men are always overcome,
By those who watch and wait all day and look unto your Son.
Jesus is the Way, the Light, the Truth and our redemption!
If you don’t follow Him, you will not find a wedding reception!
In hell there is no wine or cake or dancing with the bride!
The only thing you’ll have is punishment for your foolish pride!
