The Mask

I cannot deny the things I've seen in my young life
Nor can I forget the things I've done
Nor do I try
Passion fuels the rage that flows within the hearty of men.
A poetic balance of light and dark.
My aspiration for the best of me.
Unknown and unaware to the machine that is trying
So hard to place labels on me.
Completely unaware of the mask that I wear
And the mask that we all wear.
