Life is Mortal
Life is mortal, a truth we all know
It's a journey we all must go
From the day we are born, till the day we depart
Our time on this earth is but a fleeting art
We laugh, we love, we learn and we grow
But in the end, we all must go
No matter how great, no matter how small
Death comes for us, one and all
Some may fear, some may embrace
The final moment we all must face
For life is mortal, and so we must live
Each moment we have, we should give
Cherish the memories, cherish the love
The people we meet, the skies above
For life is fleeting, and time is short
Let's make the most of every thought
So let us live, let us love
With grace, with courage, and peace above
For in the end, when we take our leave
We'll know we lived, and truly believed.
