In Silence

A moment of silence
Doors are opened
Gates are closed
No one knows.

Struggles, pains, calling of names
The games begin
Held within.

In silence
Ashamed
She falls on bended knees
Praying, pleading
The abuse begins.

One day, realizing
The time has come
A better situation
He has not won.

She follows her mind
Now is the time
She escapes, runs that race
Freedom, peace, free from it all.

Her new life is full of joy
No more, no more as she speaks
Tough journey along the way
She is now seeing the better days.

Forgiveness. Blessed by Jesus above
Knowing that Jesus has genuine love.

She now teaches and is a millionaire
Her genuine love for people as she cares.

About this poem

Secretly in a situation, that is not healthy. But, overall suffering in silence. Sincere Prayers. On the outside looking in, some people would see an awesome picture. Overall the picture gets blurry as time goes by. She realizes that there is a much better life.
