Just Let It Go

Kim Spivey 1957 (New York)

A mean remark that made you sad.
You still dwell on it, and you get mad.
It was talked over by the two of you.
Now, how much rehashing do you plan to do?
Unkind words were spoken by you both.
Even on paper, there was an exchange of notes.
So stop it now and put it to rest.
Just let it go like your very last breath.
Exhale.
