Perhaps Not Meant To Believe
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Perhaps not meant to see.
As clear and opened vividly.
Everywhere there is something,
Going on not right.
But yet the people know to be wrong.
For so long.
But fear the losing of fiction.
Perhaps not meant to believe,
Many walk around with minds diseased.
Affecting common sense.
Few admit still using
And here we all today appear,
Distrusting truth to hear it...
Fearing the losing of fiction.
No matter how painful facing grief.
People fear the losing of their fiction.
No matter what is visioned,
Nolonger to be hidden.
People fear the losing of their fiction.
And woes all around them growing old.
Still,
The people will defend their fiction.
Never to give up their tightly held hold.
People were born to live a fictioned,
Life.
Troubled.
Life.
Beset with troubles as a normal life.
Troubled.
People were born to live a fictioned,
Life.
Beset with troubles as a normal life!
Beset with troubles as a normal life!
Troubled.
Perhaps not meant to see.
Nor believe to know the truth to live as is!
Beset with troubles.
Staying not to leave.
To deny their eyes lie!
Perhaps not meant to believe,
A dysfunction has its abnormalties.
To live.
Adjusting to life as is.
And...
Unaware we become accustomed,
Of doubling up the troubles everyday...
Normalized and accepted to live.
Crazed.
Normalized and accepted to live.
Crazed.
Normalized and accepted to live.
Crazed!
