Yodh
His hands have fashionably made,
Giving me the understanding;
Confidence not to be afraid,
Learning what He is commanding.
Those who fear shall see and rejoice,
Because of their faith in the Word;
For in song, I lift up my voice,
So that the multitude has heard.
I know that His rules are righteous,
Being afflicted in faithfulness;
Knowing He is fair in justice,
His compassion with gratefulness.
His steadfast love comforted me,
According to His covenant;
For He opened my eyes to see,
Promises unto His servant.
His tender mercies come to me,
To live His Law with such delight;
As I follow of His decree,
Which has given me new insight.
Let the boastful be put to shame,
Their lifestyle is a falsehood;
As I meditate as I proclaim,
On solid rock, His precepts stood.
Let those who fear Him turn to me,
What I proclaim does testify;
While others that hear my plea,
Attempt to rebuke to deny.
Let my heart be sound in His Law,
That I am never put to shame;
Never in me causing a flaw,
Upon His Word that I proclaim.
