The Last Go Round

Gary Orchard 1956 (Southampton)

Don’t regret me
Don’t forget me
When I’m not around
Let’s make some memories
That will stand the test of time

Don’t be concerned
Don’t be alarmed
It’s just our energy
That turned our water into wine

Shooting stars
And wishing wells
Can’t hold a candle
To the miracle I found
When I found you

If I thought God would listen
I would say a prayer for
Another hundred years
Or maybe two
But in this life
You only get one go round
And I’m glad I got to go this round with you
