Externally Viewed
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Who is it that really knows,
Which way detached minds...
Accepting acts of corruption and crimes.
Will come together to define,
Normalcy.
With a meaningful understood,
Understanding to comprehend.
In today's chaotic times to debate it.
Who is it that has stopped,
A popping of balloons.
To let the helium out.
With a doing to realize,
A victory to celebrate...
Is a little premature to do.
If decisions are made,
Before participants are announced.
As to who qualifies to participate in a race.
From an identified homemade craze,
Is this point of view.
Without binoculars used.
Zooming in close to scope it!
This stuff staged with jokes to say,
Is underplayed to manipulate.
Quicker than a magician,
Can pull a rabbit from a top hat...
Capable to rap.
Better than an urban street hustler.
Who is it that comfortably stays to sit,
Anticipating to expect...
The prioritizing of their interests,
Finally decided to leave them feeling...
Happiness to express.
To know it shown by those debating,
Truth and reality eye to eye have met.
Who is it that really knows,
Which way detached minds...
Accepting acts of corruption,
And crimes of all kinds will go to find...
Stability, thinking and common sense to use.
Proves could and can be done.
When one who has been picked to sit,
In a position of leadership yet unfit.
Is removed for being mentally incompetent.
If...
More come to agree,
What they refer to as having a normalcy...
Has been a delusion ill-defined,
By the one they chose to follow...
To accept and praise his crazy ways.
Believing him to pretend to be...
Out of his mind.
Being debated from time to time,
By those who will not admit...
He made them all addicted to perform,
As if they too were out of their minds.
But not to know...
His actions they would find entertaining,
Was not an act of him being out of his mind!
