The Silent Blades of Words

In silent storms, where pain resides,
Lie words that cut, like sharpened tides.
Sharper than blades, they slice the soul,
Leaving scars, where emotions roll.

With whispered venom, they find their mark,
Invisible wounds, hidden in the dark.
A dagger of phrases, they pierce the heart,
Tearing love and trust apart.

Yet, in their power, a lesson learned,
For words can heal, as well as burn.
Choose kindness, empathy, and grace,
To mend the wounds, in life's embrace.

So let us be mindful, in what we say,
For words hold power, come what may.
To build, not destroy, let love cascade,
In the language of hope, let scars fade.
