So Still, the Breeze

SO STILL, the BREEZE

the wind is shifting now throughout the willows,

it seems calmer and more peaceful than before;

I shake my head in quiet bemusement,

one never knows what the gods have in store.

Sitting on the jade-green grass I follow the stars,

they seem to be telegraphing a stoic silence;

A  chill runs through me as the night descends,

and a secret tale of love seems to commence.

I've always wondered what the galaxy holds,

those mysteries of love and life beyond imagination;

And in the ruminating depths of my amazement,

the swaying branches reach up towards illumination.

So still the breeze--haunting me with ghostly pleasure,

enticing the emotions held tightly in my soul;

No other night has captivated me in such solemnity,

with calming visions reflecting my future goals.
