The Libary

Marcos Cintron 2013 (Reading)

The library is a place where there are books,
In the chess club we move rooks,
Where people come together,
But sometimes closed due to bad weather.
Where people first learn to read,
Where people study for tests in order to succeed,
Some people just come for the computers,
And then some kids come on their scooters.
Then of course some kids come for the arts and crafts,
Many people come for just a laugh,
This is where the bookworms come,
Where anyone tries to overcome.
There are often plays,
But is sometimes closed on some days,
Sometimes people try to gain knowledge,
Or are getting ready for college.
Some call this place home,
And some people just roam,
So if you’re trying to grow,
Just go ahead and give it a go.
