Worn
Gage Comer 1990 (United States)
Traveling along this lonely road side
I see so many weighed down and forgotten souls
With Empty eyes and nowhere to go
Hey hey, hey there mister, are you lost?
Do you know where to go?
I think i know, you gotta go, out of this town.
Keep on walking, keep on dreaming
Dragging empty bottles, clinging
Rock bottom has its claim upon you
Empty water or your life
Broken headlights, broken daylight.
Broken hearted, I can't stand by
While you travel all alone down this road,
you are torn , and so am I.
I walk until I can't stand, I just fall,
To my knees
Reaching out with one hand
I try to take a deep breath
But these walls are caving in on me
And I feel like I've lost my only chance
I need to step back and let time rewind
Find out how I almost died inside
I know I can't get back any time I lost
I hope to find the root of it all
Broken headlights, broken daylight.
Broken hearted, I can't stand by
While you travel all alone down this road,
you are torn , and so am I.
