Dilemmalistically Speaking
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Equally unsatisfactory.
It is to be in a situation to choose,
Between two or more things.
That seem to offer different options.
And yet the results and consequences,
Are all undesirable.
Dilemmalistically speaking, of course.
Although always there will be those,
Meddling to make their opinions known.
From anonymous places.
Without their names or faces publicly shown.
To declare themselves more competent,
Than those they picked to sit...
In leadership positions.
Hoping to want they make the right decisions.
Knowing any decision made,
Either way would be a stupid thing to do.
Especially when no one will be pleased.
Or come to agree,
That a bottom to reach it...
Could at least introduce a better alternative!
But no!
The alternative too is refused.
To continue the chaos and division.
With finger pointing and voices raised.
Over 'something'.
That can and should be done!
Yet that gets less and less accomplished.
Since they all rely on just one of them,
To produce evidence and proof...
There is more than and ego to follow.
Wishing to want,
Narcissism praised.
And who is better at doing that?
Than the one who is best at it.
To fiction and delude nothing else to do.
That should please and satisfy,
Anyone in doubt...
Words to hear heard coming out of a mouth,
Of one totally crazed with self love!
What a dilemma.
For many who have become,
Addicted to nonsense.
And out of their minds as well.
From a dilemmalistically speaking,
Point of view.
Of course!
Since who really knows,
What the future holds.
If no one is prepared.
Or aware enough to be conscious of it!
'Uh...
Are you speaking,
Politically, religiously or spiritually?'
'Does it matter?
And today many are choosing,
To medicate themselves...
Are far away from truth and reality,
By any means necessary!'
'I'll have you know,
The weed I smoke has been legalized.
And methadone clinics,
Are everywhere.
Even crime and corruption,
Has been normalized.
Get with the program.'
'Uh...uh...'
'Lost for words?
Or...
Have your own dilemmas,
Become too overwhelmingly real to handle?'
