The World Should Have Known

I was never designed to be perfect,
There was only one to ever walk the Earth’s surface.
Great a man he was,
Great in all His majesty and love.
Only a few beheld his glory,
So, it’s up to me to tell His story.
He came and died for me and you,
The words he spoke were always true.
Many have came and tried to deceive,
But he’s the one you should believe.
Yes, he was flesh and he was called man,
His death was all apart of the plan.
He was a man who knew his demise was certain,
But still he came and took up all our burdens.
A sacrificial lamb whose wool was white as frost,
He was the one called God when he died on the cross.
The whole world should have known,
That God sent him to save his own.
He was betrayed by one of the twelve chosen,
His Death could not keep his body frozen.
After three days he rose again,
But still people refused to repent their sins.
He was at the beginning and he will be at the end,
The one true person who I can call my friend.
He was the  Messiah, the only begotten son,
Victory over death,  through him can be won.
Be glad and rejoice in him,
For he was truly a gem.
His life was more than a thesis,
Great in Spirit,  he was the one we called Jesus.
