Daddy

Daddy help me please I’ve fallen again
Daddy I’ve prayed to Jesus our good friend
Dad you preached most your life while loving us kids our mother your wife
Things were sometimes hard and dealt with some strife
We prayed and Jesus carried us through
Daddy I wrecked that car and didn’t get hurt thanks to you
Jesus honored your prayers bringing me home with out a broken bone
I tried to thank you one lonely night
You shrugged your shoulder like it was a burden very light
Daddy I don’t understand why did you care
You explained son Jesus kept you from satans snare
Daddy I never knew the tears that in darkness you cried
Jesus showed me the day you died
Daddy I’m very very sorry I’ll tell you again
I pray up in glory we can be like Jesus and be best of friends
I love you lord and daddy as well
Thank you dad for be the preaching and Jesus keep me from hell
I guess there only one more thing for me to do
Tell you daddy and Jesus both I LOVE YOU
