No Cure There Is
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
No cure or remedy there is.
For anyone who self inflicts.
Their own pain and sorrows.
Continuing to ignore,
The affects of the consequences.
No experienced qualified doctor.
With proof and its evidence.
Revealing to with patience to do.
Can never convince a mind distance.
That their own mentality,
Prevents reality and the truth to face.
Even in a place,
In which people declare themselves great!
Delusion and denial,
Has left many to depict...
They've been entitled to dismiss,
Psychologists and therapists.
And here we are to live these days,
Listening to those who defend their ways.
Expecting them to be accepted.
To advance and approve,
Leaving few left conscious...
Unable to protect or reject,
The madness and craze.
Normalized to live without objection!
'This mental abnormality,
Is wrong and has gone on for too long!'
'But...
There is one thing mad clear,
Anyone choosing to suffer.
And endure their aches and pains.
With every medication to take.
Whether prescribed or not.
Are seeking to be seen as brave.
To be noticed by no one,
Addicted and drugged on something.
And in these days we live,
It is almost free to eliminate agony.
Assisted by an economy to fiction it,
As the cause and creation...
Of too much ethnic diversity!
Even though not many if them,
Are permitted to qualify for a loan.'
'What you say,
Makes no sense at all!'
'Tell me about it.
I have long stopped to attempt,
Trying to understand the obvious!'
'So...
You live without aches and pains?'
'No.
Are you kidding.
Although none do I have,
To keep me reminded or aggravated.
By a creditor.
Those debts I don't owe to pay.
I was cured from that addiction years ago!'
'Oh, you've got jokes!'
'And laughing at them by myself alone.
I can afford to do it.'
