Crystal
Crystal
When you put your dog to sleep and she looks into your eyes, she knows she is going to die. There are no more rides through the countryside, and there is no place for you to hide. You sit there and cry. Every teardrop is one more day; please help me. I want her to stay, but I know deep down in my heart that she has to go away. Take me and let her stay. She doesn't know hate and fear, so why isn't she here? She only knows love. Scratching behind her ear leaves me with one more tear. I will save it for her for the rest of my life.
About this poem
This is an old poem I made under another name years ago. And I still hate it from the first day I made it.
